We wash up from eating and then have them get dressed, so their clothes don’t get dirty.

Try to get sibling photos done pretty early during the shoot. I always make sure newborn is settled and then get going with a sibling. Save some shots for next year’s Christmas card or showcase some in a seasonal photo book. You’ll get your best shots when you embrace every moment and let their individual personalities shine.
Try to finish the sibling photographs quite early in the shoot. A newborn should always be put to sleep before you go on to a sibling. Your preference for tonality will determine whether the series of photos is light or dark.
